1. What we ask for — and why

We only use information that helps you study with us. Nothing here is collected “just in case.”

• Mobile number — so you can sign in with an OTP. The same number on the app and website keeps one account.
• Name, email, course, year, and state — so we show the right content and can reach you about your account if needed.
• Plan details — so we know which courses you have paid for and till when they stay active.
• Support messages — only if you write to us, so we can help.

In your profile you may add extra details (such as a photo or address). Those are optional. Skip them if you prefer.

2. What happens in the background

Like most apps, a few technical details are needed for login, payments, and notifications to work:

• a simple device/app ID so your session stays secure
• a notification token only if you allow notifications
• basic usage (for example, that a course opened correctly) so we can fix problems

We do not track you across other apps or websites for advertising.

3. Payments

You can buy a plan on the website, in the Android app, or in the iOS app. Payments go through Razorpay. Card numbers, CVV, and UPI PINs go to Razorpay — not to us. We only keep what we need for your receipt: plan name, amount, date, and payment status. Access is tied to your mobile number, so the same plan works across website and apps.

4. Who we work with

To run the app we use trusted partners for secure login, storage, OTP delivery, and notifications, and Razorpay for payments on the website and in the apps. They only receive what is needed for that job — not your data for their own marketing. Apple and Google also handle app-store delivery and, if you allow it, device notifications.

We share information with others only if Indian law requires it.

5. Notifications

If you turn notifications on, we may send study reminders and account updates. This is optional. Switch them off anytime in your phone settings. Your account stays as it is.

6. How we keep it safe

Your data is stored on secure servers with login protection and encrypted connections (HTTPS). We keep it only while your account is active, or longer if tax or payment law requires a record of a purchase. We do not keep extra copies “for later.”

7. Delete your account

You are free to leave at any time.

• In the app: Profile → Delete Account
• By email: contact@myparaacademy.com (mention your registered mobile number)
• Or use our Support page

We remove or anonymise your personal data within 7 business days. A payment record may stay only as long as Indian tax law requires. Deleting an account stops access to paid content; refunds follow our Refund Policy, they are not automatic.

8. You are in control

You can update your profile in the app or website, turn off notifications, and ask us for a copy or correction of your details. For any of this, write to contact@myparaacademy.com.

9. Students under 13

MyPara Academy is for students and professionals, not for children under 13. We do not knowingly create accounts for that age. If you are under 18, please use the app with a parent or guardian’s knowledge.

10. Updates

If this policy changes, we will post the new version at www.myparaacademy.com/legal/privacy with a new date. For an important change, we will try to let you know in the app as well.
